The practice is involved in the education of GP registrars. These are fully qualified doctors who spend time with us to complete their GP training under the mentorship of Dr Kinney and Dr Hider.
We also support Foundation Doctors – fully qualified doctors in the final stage of their hospital training. They share their hospital expertise with us and we train them in how general practice works, potentially helping them to decide to become a GP in their own right in the future. Dr DeWeever supervises these doctors.
Medical students are also attached to our practice for short periods. If you do not wish to have the student present during your consultation please inform the reception staff prior to seeing the doctor. Dr Connell is responsible for our student programme.
